While on a retreat in Sedona in 2018, I decided to become a Certified Practitioner.  Initially, Reiki was something I wanted to learn for myself — a gentle way to support my own wellbeing, balance, and personal growth.  Over time, I found myself naturally sharing Reiki with family, friends and pets.

As my mentoring and mindset workshops evolved, I began introducing Reiki into some of the sessions. The response from the girls was incredibly positive — many experienced meaningful shifts, deep relaxation, emotional release, and a stronger sense of connection within themselves. Some even expressed interest in learning Reiki themselves.

Today, my approach combines energy healing with optional mentoring, personal growth, and self-awareness support in a warm, grounded, and supportive way — creating space for girls and women to reconnect with themselves emotionally, mentally, and physically.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese healing practice developed by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. It is a gentle, holistic approach that supports balance and wellbeing across the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels.

Reiki works by encouraging the body's natural ability to restore and rebalance itself. It does not replace medical treatment but can be used alongside conventional healthcare and other complementary therapies to support overall wellbeing and recovery.

Reiki is inclusive and does not require any particular belief system, making it accessible to people from all backgrounds and life experiences.

What Happens During a Reiki Session?

During a Reiki session, you remain fully clothed and comfortably relaxed, lying on a massage table, placing my hands just above different areas of the body, allowing the Reiki energy to flow where it is needed most.

Each person's experience is unique. Some people feel heat, tingling and a sense of deep relaxation and bliss. Others may feel peaceful, calm and can breathe easier.

How Often Can You Have Reiki?

Reiki can be received as often as you feel called to: weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Some people enjoy occasional sessions for relaxation and self-care, while others choose regular treatments to support ongoing wellbeing for example every 5-7 days, or some choose to have distant reiki to keep their sessions regular.

Many clients find that a series of sessions allows them to experience deeper benefits over time, helping them maintain balance, manage stress more effectively, and strengthen their connection to themselves. As with any wellbeing practice, consistency can enhance the cumulative effects and support long-term wellbeing.

Mentoring

Mentoring provides a supportive and empowering space for self-discovery, personal growth, and meaningful change. Through guided conversation, reflective questioning, and practical insights, mentoring helps you gain clarity, build confidence, and navigate life's challenges with greater awareness and purpose.

Whether experienced on its own or combined with Reiki, mentoring can help uncover limiting beliefs, identify strengths, and create positive shifts in mindset and behaviour. While Reiki supports energetic balance and relaxation, mentoring offers a structured pathway for insight, action, and personal development—creating a holistic approach to wellbeing and growth.
